Literary Death Match: London

In London? Like words? Like healthy competition? Then you are most certainly in for a treat. Tomorrow, Shoreditch’s Concrete plays host to to the 14th Literary Death Match in London.

Hosted by Todd Zuniga, 4 authors wage a war of words upon each other until one is named victorious. The line-up for the 14th LDM consists of Edward Docx (author or Self Help), Elif Batuman (author of The Possessed: Adventures with Russian Books and the People Who Read Them), Abigail Tartellin (author of Flick) and Stuart Evers (author of Ten Stories About Smoking).

Judging the competitors will be Cosmo Landesman (Sunday Times film critic and author of Starstruck: Fame, Failure, My Family & Me), Anna Goodall (former editor of Pen Pusher) and actress and presenter, Samantha Baines.

Everything kicks off at 8:15pm with the doors opening at 7, we recommending arriving early for grab a good seat and some great pizza. Tickets, when pre-ordered, are a mere £5, go forth and get one.
