Cycle-In Cinema at Hackney City Farm

Do you, like me, enjoy going to the cinema but wish it were a bit more like going to the gym? No? Really? I was sure I had some support there. Well, would you like a cinema experience that doesn’t cost the earth? That’s more like it.

Imagine a Drive-In Cinema but without the cars! Ride to the screening on your two-wheeled beauty (or beast), hook it into the generator and help power the performance. The movie’s soundtrack is broadcast using a wireless transmitter allowing audience members to tune-in to the performances using their mobile phones or radios.

Intrigued? Then you’re in luck, the Cycle-In Cinema will be peddling it’s way to East London this Saturday for a screening of David Bowie, goblin and tight-legging driven vehicle that is Labyrinth. This free screening will held at Hackney City Farm. So head down and peddle away whist sipping a drink and sampling some Vegan Jamaican food.

 Sunday 9th October | Gates open – 7pm / Film starts 7.30pm | FREE (£5 suggested donation) | Hackney City Farm, 1a Goldsmiths Row, E2 8QA
